Cookie policy
This document describes which cookies we store in your browser, what for, and how you can control them. It is short, because we use exactly one cookie.
In brief. We store a single cookie — the one that remembers your consent choices. We use no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. We embed no third-party content. There are no third-party cookies here at all.
01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They typically hold the name of the site they came from, a lifetime and a value. On your next visit the site can read them back — which is how it “remembers”, for example, a choice you made.
Cookies are either session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent ones (kept for a defined period), and either first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by another service). This site uses one persistent first-party cookie and nothing else.
02The legal basis for using them
Storing information on a user's device is governed in Poland by the Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej); any related processing of personal data is governed by the GDPR.
Cookies strictly necessary to provide the service you requested do not require consent. Our single cookie falls into exactly that category — it exists to remember your consent decision, so without it we would have to ask on every single page load. Every other category requires your explicit, prior consent and is off by default.
03The cookies we set

The sbos-consent cookie contains only: a consent document version number, a
timestamp, a random identifier for the consent record (not linked to your identity), and the
state of each category — on or off. It holds no name, e-mail address, IP address or any other
information that could identify you. It is never shared with anyone.
If you visited the previous version of sbos.pl, your browser may still hold a
cookieyes-consent cookie left by the old consent tool. The new site does not use
it — we delete it automatically on your first visit.
04Consent categories
The settings panel offers three categories. The last two are reserved for future use — no actual cookie currently corresponds to them, and if that ever changes we will ask for your consent again.

05Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your decision at any time and without giving a reason — withdrawing consent is just as easy as giving it. Use the button below, or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
The change takes effect immediately. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of anything done before the withdrawal.
06Browser-level settings
Independently of our panel, you can manage cookies directly in your browser — block them, delete them, or be warned each time one is set. See your browser's help, usually under “Privacy and security”:
- Google Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Mozilla Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari — Settings → Privacy
- Microsoft Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking all cookies does not prevent you from using the site — the only inconvenience is that we will ask about consent on every visit, because we will have nowhere to record your decision.
07What we do not use
For the avoidance of doubt, this site contains no:
- advertising or remarketing cookies;
- tracking pixels or advertising identifiers;
- cookie-based analytics tools;
- social-media plugins or share buttons;
- third-party cookies of any kind;
- profiling or automated decision-making.
08External services without cookies
The site runs on our hosting provider's infrastructure which, like any web server, records technical connection logs. These are not cookies; they are described in our privacy policy.
The fonts and libraries needed to render the page are served from our own origin. This means that simply browsing the site issues no request to Google Fonts or to any external CDN, and your IP address is not disclosed to those parties.
Links to PDF copies of legal acts and to the knowledge base lead off-site. Only once you follow such a link does your browser connect to the destination server, where that operator's privacy rules apply.
09Changes to this policy
If we add a tool that sets new cookies, we will update the table above and ask for your consent again — your earlier decision will stop applying at that point. The current version, with its effective date, is always available at this address.
